Abby Lee

With the coming of Spring Abby has discovered the joy of a swing and a slide. We have taken many walks up to the Church and also up to School to slide and swing during the afternoon hours. As you can tell-- She is still wearing beautiful dresses, although we have pants on under to keep her warm in the early spring days.





But last week things changed. My sister's boss asked her if she thought that Abby would like to have a swing set of her own. Heck yeah was the reply. So after a couple of hours of hard labor including borrowing trucks and purchasing a couple of new attachments and we had a brand new, well almost brand new swing set and fortress!! Check it out. Abby loves it. We also have some extra swings for all of our friends so come and visit!! Hope you are green with envy over our free swing set!

I know it has been forever. Jason keeps saying that he is trying to post. Hopefully I didn't take any of his pictures but I kept getting sly comments from people saying how long it has been since we posted. Abby has been changing a lot in the past couple of weeks. It has been a lot of fun to be a part of a growing, learning child's development. It has also finally become spring in Vermont. This means the departure of snow and the arrival of grass and flowers. Jason has been working on the vegetable garden by planting seeds and prompting them to grow. I have not been a huge part of this process although I help Grammie in the garden some times. Abby continues to be in her beautiful dresses stage. It has been hard to have her in pants at all. Sometimes we can get her to wear some under the dresses when it is cold but not always. This is one of her new dresses. It is a summer Dora dress.

Last Sunday Abby helped Grammie to plant some new flowers and to enjoy the sun. Abby lasted about to plants until it became to dirty for her. So her new job became to smell the flowers instead.
