Check back here periodically for updates and pictures of Abby and her proud parents.
Today is Abby's 1st grade picture day. She awakes this morning with her picture smile plastered on her face, excited to face another day, and enjoy times of learning and interactions with her friends. I have never met a person who loves school more than Abby. She gets to play and learn new things and draw. I went to her open house the other day and was pleased to hear so many great things about her and her talents. Although it was a little hard to hear her amazing singing voice while she was chewing on her hair. I say that I am going to cut it off every day and yet know that I will need to think of a different consequence. Maybe I'll start taking away toys every time I catch her. That will kill 2 birds with 1 stone, removing toys will hopefully reduce the amount of mess that currently grows in her room.
The boys are doing well. They had their 2nd birthdays two weeks ago. They are into everything and laughing at everything. I love to spend time with them and yet feel totally overwhelmed because they are into everything and nothing is ever put away for longer than 15 minutes. I cleaned the house on Tuesday Night & I know when I make it home tonight it will be a mess again. I can't believe how fast things can get spread throughout our entire house. Yesterday it was my newest knitting project...stretched across the living room floor. Holy Smokes, I was ticked! Nathan continues to have no hair, while Aleks' is getting longer & longer.
It sure is a handful having 3 young kiddos at home, but you have to love them for their individuality and spunk. I wouldn't miss this time for anything!
