Check back here periodically for updates and pictures of Abby and her proud parents.
It has been over a year since we have posted on the blog. Each time I post lately, I am reminded of the fact that Facebook has taken over the bloggosphere. I miss being able to share about our family in the manner. So I will share and likely no one will end but years from now we can come back and read about the funny things that our children did that made us laugh, or fume, or realize anew how fragile life is.
Abigail is an amazingly brilliant, hard-working, book-loving young lady. She devours ever book she can get her hands on, makes pictures and drawings tht are becoming more detailed by the day. She has taken a shine to acting and will participate in her second play of the year in a couple of months. We have noticed a little bit more of an attitude and impatience when talking to the boys but she continues to show them amazing things like lego creations, and how to make movies on her phone, and th beets dance moves in town.
Nathan grows in height and strength. He loves to build lego creations and can look at picture to figure out the steps in building helicopters or houses or robots or what meets his fancy. He is super physical, able to climb up anything and having little to no fear. Some day he might make it on American warrior challenges. We are struggling a little at preschool with his behavior and making and keeping friends. We are really hoping that this will smooth out as he enters kindergarten.
Aleks continues to be our sensitive child. He still needs his think time and sometimes help with word retrieval but has finally found interest in reading. For the last couple of days, he has brought down chapter books to look at while at the fire. He has less interest in writing his name than Nathan. Lately we have noticed that he tends to write his name backwards. Something to keep an eye on as he moves into kindergarten. Aleks loves to play with cars and play games.
Jason completed a kickstarter a year ago and has built a music studio in our garage. His music has really taken off and he is playing at a number of different restaurants in the area. He is pretty excited about this.
I am still doing the same job and trying to be crafty when ever possible. Also trying to fit in exercise and staying fit.ill be happy for spring to come so that we can spend more time outside.
Family picture to quickly document our continued growth.
